What do you think of the 2020 Olympic Logo?

With the Olympic Games taking place in Japan 2020, the new regional 2020 Olympic Logo is out. No, we didn’t design it.

As designers, we’re super excited to see a fresh and thoughtful approach taken in producing an iconic graphic. Designer, Daren Newman, is receiving plenty of praise for his ability to capture the spirit of the traditional Olympic brand in a concept that cleverly translates the location and year of the games.

This logo represents a modern approach in shape, colour and execution. Designers no longer try to create elaborate pictorials to tell a story. The same can be cleverly achieved by using stylised elements that work as visual triggers.

In today’s digital world we are over saturated with visual candy with every swipe and click. It’s refreshing to pause, connect and retain an image that says so much with so little. Our aim as designers is to provide you with a brand that instantly speaks volumes, communicating the philosophy of your business in an instant as Daren has achieved with his 2020 Olympic Logo.

Tell us what you think of the new 2020 Olympic Logo, we’d love to hear your thoughts.

If you’re interested in a new logo for your business Mediamojo can create a brand that you’ll be proud of. Give the Mediamojo team a call and experience the difference a purposefully designed logo can make.
